I can freeze time. What's your superpower?
I'm a lifestyle family photographer, which means yes, I will get the photo of you all looking and smiling at the camera, but what I really want to capture is that intangible dynamic that makes each family so uniquely beautiful. I want the looks, the snuggles, the hugs, the kisses, the giggles. When you look at that image years from now, I want you to remember the sound of their laughter and the feel of their small hands in yours.
For event photography, I bring my coordinated family lifestyle approach to your event portraiture, and once those images have been captured, my approach is to interfere as little as possible. I'm an observer, and am quick to the draw when those key moments and connections happen. My goal as a photographer is to capture the images that will stay with you long after you've stopped looking at them.
I'm laid back, fun to work with, and will make you laugh (I do want photos of you smiling). My full time job is in Project Management and Quality for Medical Devices, and when I'm not working, here are some other fun facts about me:
I wake up in a good mood (once I drag myself out of bed).
I start my day with music and dance and sing along while I get ready.
I may dance and sing along with the music at your party too.
I don't drink coffee. I have too much natural energy. When I'm tired, green tea for me!
I am a mom to two boys who are my world.
I like water - to swim, to drink, to take long hot showers, to paddle board.
I love board games.
I enjoy travelling and exploring new places.
I like learning new things.
I take good care of me. I am a healthy eater and you can find me at the gym, pool, or yoga a few times a week.
Tex-mex and sweets are my kryptonite. They may be responsible for many extra burpees at the gym!
Converse are my high heels.
I am a seeker of balance. I may not always find it, but I never stop searching.
I am a problem solver. I apply my engineering mind to all aspects of my life.
I see and appreciate the extraordinary in the ordinary.
I like to capture what I see in a photo and make the temporary permanent.
What can I capture for you?
