I had the pleasure of meeting these lovely ladies for my Valentine's sessions last year, so I was excited when mom called to schedule a Wynwood. This mommy / daughter duo has so much love for each other, and they're just adorable without even trying! They'll stop and cheese it up for the camera, but they also share so many delicious moments in between that I just love to capture!
Wynwood Walls Photo Session: Rachel, Brandon, Mallory, and Blake
I absolutely love Wynwood sessions. The street art is so stimulating and inspiring, and it really tends to bring out the best in people. This was the first of four sessions there this weekend. We started out with the boombox, and then 'Loveism', followed by a building with some cool archways and gates, and finished off with some bright color in the shade near where we had parked. This brother and sister were very sweet with each other, and I was able to capture some great portraits, as well as get them dancing for some great candid shots that are 'So You' for these two!

Ashley and Dylan's 6th Dance Party
These twins celebrated their 6th birthdays last weekend with a dance party! The party was held in a large dance studio, and was led by characters from the Disney Channel Movie The Descendants. They had a blast dancing with scarves and hula hoops, bouncing in a bounce house, and catching candy from a pinata. What a great party!
A Family Portraits
I haven’t photographed at this park in a while, but when mom said she wanted her photos to look ‘wintery’, it was the best choice, since the trees and lake make it look a little less ‘Florida’. When they got out of the car, dad immediately recognized me from High School, but it took me a little longer to recognize him, since he has a bit more facial hair than he did back then, but what a surprising reunion! They were dressed perfectly to suit mom’s wintery theme, and mom even brought some ‘Insta-Snow’ to add to the wintery feel. That’s about the most wintery we can get for 80 degrees in December!

Tatiana, Brandon, Hayleigh and Hayden
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family for the holidays for several years now, and it’s been fun to watch these little ones grow and mature! They are always so expressive, and I enjoy interacting with them to bring out and capture their personalities. This year, mom planned something a little special, and they all changed into matching elf pajamas at the end of our session! I was so focused on photographing the four of them, that I forgot to take some of just the kids in their pjs. Since they hadn’t changed out of them since they left the park in the morning, mom was happy to bring them back for some more portraits after my evening session. It worked out perfectly, because they had a renewed energy and attention span for photos, and those captures are some of my favorites! It was great getting this family in front of my camera again, and I hope it’s a tradition we’ll be able to continue!
