Caitlin's Maternity Session | Miami, FL Photographer

Caitlin’s maternity session felt extra special because she is my first cousin, and I have photographed her family in this same spot before. I shot her sister here, then my brother, and now Caitlin with her growing family. Amelia Earhart Park in Hialeah has this incredible ability to make you forget you are in the middle of the city. The light is beautiful, the shade is lovely, and it gives us so much room to create something soft and natural.

Big brother Maverick was the sweetest part of the morning, full of curiosity and excitement about what is coming next. Lifestyle maternity sessions are always a mix of gentle posing and simple prompts, and Maverick responded so well. His personality came through in every moment, and watching him love on his mom made the whole session feel even more meaningful.

We wrapped up with a visit to the goats, which has become a bit of a tradition at this park. It was the perfect ending to a calm, happy morning. As a South Florida family photographer, I love documenting these milestones in places that feel familiar and full of heart. Heeeeeeeeeyyyy people on the internet reading this blog. I’ve been missing from blogging for a while! I’ve been keeping up with Instagram and Facebook, but I need to share more photos! So back to the blog I go!

This family needs no introduction, and I’ve been there for their wedding, all the baby bellies, all the babies, and all the milestones. This baby girl has already made her appearance, since we photographed this session back in December, but the photos are too lovely not to share!

One of my fave moments was when this 2 year old boy was more savage with the seagulls than the men observing on the shore!

Dania Beach Maternity Photographer | And They are Almost 5!

This mama is the sister of one of my favorite families to photograph.  They were in town from New York this Spring, and reached out for a family and maternity session at the beach.  Because when it's still cold out where you live, who wouldn't want to be in shorts at the beach?!  Being familiar with my work, they were totally open to a mix of portraiture and play, and you all know, the 'so you' love and play shots are my fave!  It is my understanding that the baby boy in that belly has made his way into the world, and I hope to one day meet him and get him in front of my camera!  

Almost Party of Five! Maternity Session at Wynwood Walls

It's so much fun getting to capture families as they grow.  Especially when they are growing another human to add to their family!  I first photographed this family when that spunky little redheaded ball of fun was in mama's belly, and now she's getting ready to become a big sister!  We had so much fun exploring the amazing street art in the Wynwood Walls art district in Miami that never disappoints.  Neither does this family's love for each other!

I first photographed this family 2 years ago for Liam's first birthday.  We created lovely images then, so I was excited when mom called to schedule a maternity session to freeze their time as a family of four, as they await the joy of a new baby.  I could not believe how much these kiddos have grown!  Especially Liam, who at 3 is such a great talker!  We were able to capture some great moments of this family spending an evening together, enjoying each other in the beautiful evening light.
