Jonah’s Bar Mitzvah service at Beth Emet in Cooper City was led by Rabbi Greenspon and Rabbi Dewoskin, a meaningful and heartfelt morning surrounded by family and community. After the service, everyone gathered for a luncheon catered by JLR Events, and the whole space carried a fun camp theme that fit Jonah perfectly.
Instead of a traditional candlelighting, they used sand to honor special guests, and everyone loved the novelty of it. Jonah ended up with the sweetest keepsake, something he will actually want to hold onto. His sister was so sweet throughout the day, so much love for her brother in every moment, and it added such warmth to the celebration. After the luncheon, the whole group loaded into vans to head up to camp to continue the festivities.
