Three Generations at ArtsPark at Young Circle

My friend from work had a baby a few months ago who from pictures, I knew to be a cute one!  We kept saying we should make plans so I could meet her in person, but it was one of those things that never worked out… until today.  Her mom was going to be in town, so I suggested we get together, and I could photograph the three of them.  We met at ArtsPark at Young Circle in Hollywood.  I am a huge fan of Romero Britto, and taking pics of his butterfly did make me a little giddy.  It was beyond hot out, but we were all troopers, and these gals managed to turn out some smiles, and some great photos.

A Day at the Pool with Jayden

I reconnected with one of my close friends from High School a few years ago, so an invite to hang with her and her family by the pool today when they were in town was one I could not pass up.  We enjoyed catching up, and I loved getting to meet the new addition to her family – little miss Jayden!  She is adorable, and her parents just love her so!  I was lucky enough to be able to capture their adoration for her, and each other, in these photos.

So You Travels: New England in May

My cousin got married in NY this past May (congrats, guys!), so we made a trip out of it and visited my hubby’s grandma in Newport, RI and toured Boston.  We had an amazing time, of which I was able to capture some really great shots, which I’m excited to finally be sharing with you here.

Eight are the Days of the Bris - Snip, Snip

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of sharing in the joy of the bris of my best friend from High School's second baby boy.  This is when a Jewish baby boy is circumcised on the 8th day of life.  Courtesy of Google, here's the most simplified explanation of the ritual I could find: http://www.bethrishon.org/images/Brit_Milah.pdf.

 I loved being able to capture the sweetness of this baby, and his warm welcome into their loving family. It was also fun to capture some candid shots of their older son enjoying the occasion.

Let's Get It Started

I've been really enjoying photography and sewing, and I'm ready to share my passions with the world!  So You by Erica Sue works for photography, and Sew You by Erica Sue for sewing!
