Marley’s newborn session felt extra special because this family has been part of my story for so long. Just a few weeks ago we photographed Caitlin’s maternity session at Amelia Earhart Park, and now here we were welcoming her sweet baby boy. Maverick stepped into his new role as big brother with so much pride, and their labradoodle Fitz was right there with him. Fitz is so freaking sweet, gentle and curious, and he made sure to stay close and be part of whatever was happening.
The house was full of that soft, happy new‑baby energy. Maverick kept checking on Marley, touching his tiny hands and leaning in close like he already understood how important he is. Fitz followed along, settling near him and giving us those perfect big‑brother dog moments that add so much heart to lifestyle newborn sessions. Watching Caitlin with her two boys was beautiful, especially knowing how recently we captured her anticipation and excitement.
As a South Florida family photographer, these are the milestones I love documenting, the ones that show a family growing right in front of you. From maternity to newborn, from one child to two, it is all part of the same story.
