This pre shoot was AMAZING!! A beautiful family on a beautiful evening in beautiful light with beautifully colored street art as a backdrop - what more could you ask for?! How about a bat mitzvah girl whose inner beauty outshines all of that?! Mazal Tov and I can’t wait to photograph your mitzvah in a few weeks!

Olivia's Bat Mitzvah Pre Shoot | Worth Ave Lifestyle Mitzvah Photographer
The passage of time is rarely more apparent then when I am gifted with the opportunity of photographing a mitzvah family a second time for a teen who was a child only years before. I absolutely love the transition from boy to man or girl to woman marked by the Bar / Bat Mitzvah, and it is such a blessing to be able to freeze this moment in time for so many families. This Bat Mitzvah girl has a gorgeous smile, but my favorite photos from this session are those un-posed moments, where I kept clicking past the pose, and captured some incredible natural expressions. Mazal Tov on your upcoming Bat Mitzvah, Olivia!
Ellie's Glee Themed Bat Mitzvah Pre Shoot | South Florida Lifsetyle Photographer
This pre shoot was FUN y’all! Ellie is planning to celebrate with a Glee themed mitzvah. Mom did an amazing job styling the family in coordinating, but not matchy matchy outfits, and the ladies looked UH-MAY-ZING with their hair and make-up. Looks aside, this family is so full of love and fun and good spirits, and all that light shines through in this gallery. I know mitzvahs look different in the time of covid, but it brings me so much joy to see families celebrating with as much gusto as they can, and to see this tradition continue regardless of challenging circumstances. The bleachers and field made a perfect backdrop for this theme, and I can’t wait to celebrate with this family on their special day!
Samantha's Bat Mitzvah Pre Shoot | Wynwood Walls Miami Mitzvah Photographer
This lovely young lady was visiting Miami from New York with her dad over winter break, and mom coordinated a pre shoot while they were here at one of my favorite places, Wynwood Walls! I just love the colorful, fun energy, and exploring the art while we make beautiful photos. As I always do, I prompted Samantha to have fun, laugh, and move, so that we could capture her personality in her portraits. Her movements clued me in on her dancing skills, which is always extra fun and beautiful, and which we really showcased towards the end of our session together. Mazel Tov on your upcoming simcha!
