Sean’s 1st Birthday Party

This mom was the lucky winner of one of my photo sessions at a silent auction for her son's school, and chose to put her certificate towards event photography at Sean's 1st birthday party! This party has been on my calendar for a while, and I was looking forward to celebrating with them at a great park where I've hosted birthday parties for my own kids! However, the weather had other plans. This family didn't let the rain dampen their fun, and moved the party indoors to the bowling alley! This photographer was prepared with the lighting to capture this little man and his loving family and friends as he commemorated his first year. Happy Birthday Sean!

Rachael & Jonathan Maternity

I've had the unique pleasure of growing up with Rachael and sharing many of life's great moments. Last night's maternity session was no exception. We are all so excited for you and can't wait to meet your baby girl in 6 weeks!

Lauren & Anthony’s 10th Anniversary

2 years ago, my family's life changed for the better when this beautiful family moved in across the street. Now my two boys can have playdates with these two boys, pretty much any time they want!

Yesterday though, it was all about Lauren and Anthony, and celebrating their 10th anniversary with a modern wedding portrait session. Lauren got a great new dress, and dressed her boys on the casual side of formal with great flowers for this outdoor woodsy setting.

It was an awesome evening, and I hope we're lucky enough to still be neighbors for your 20th anniversary photo shoot!

Sherly and Joseph’s Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing this couples’ friend’s birthday party.  They loved the pictures, and when they renewed their vows, wanted me to photograph their wedding.  After a beautiful family session to celebrate their upcoming nuptials, I was excited for their big day. 

We began the day with the bride getting ready at the maid of honor’s house, and soaked up the spirituality of their church ceremony, in French!  Although I didn’t understand a single word, the language of weddings and love is universal, and I knew exactly which moments to capture.  Then it was off to dinner and dancing to celebrate with this happy pair.  Congratulations!

Nataly and Roy are Expecting

The third time really is a charm! Nataly and I had to reschedule this shoot twice - once due to a scheduling conflict, and once due to thunderstorms. But since we waited so long, I had the pleasure of shooting this couple's pregnancy reveal!

I love when my clients have an idea of what they want for their shoot, and we are able to communicate to turn their vision into lovely images. Nataly and Roy had this beautiful spot all picked out. It was new for me, but new locations are always fun. We found some great backdrops by this open space on the bay. Nataly was prepared with props too, including a sign, and pink and blue ribbons and balloons so that when they find out their baby's gender, they will already have the photos to announce it to their family and friends! I hope to get to see you guys again as your family grows. Congratulations!
