Lana’s Bat Mitzvah pre shoot in the Miami Design District had that perfect mix of style, color and personality that makes this spot such a favorite. She settled in right away, moving through the bold architecture and bright corners with so much ease. The district gave us endless backdrops, and Lana brought her own spark to every one.
What made the session even sweeter was watching her interact with her younger sisters and her parents. Her sisters were so excited to be part of it, jumping in for little moments and giving us those genuine sibling smiles that you can’t stage. Lana was patient and playful with them, and it added a softness to the shoot that balanced the modern vibe of the district. Her mom and dad were right there too, proud and relaxed, soaking in the moment and enjoying watching their girl shine.
I’m excited for her Bat Mitzvah next month. As a South Florida mitzvah photographer, these pre shoots are some of my favorite sessions because they set the tone and let the personality and family dynamic come through. Lana’s session had all of that, and I can’t wait to capture the rest of her celebration.
