The Challenge Fitness CFX Hybrid Endurance Race was such a great first‑time event for the gym and the community. Amy put on an incredible race, and you could feel how proud everyone was of what she built. Athletes ran laps outside, tackled stations with different challenges and moved through heats of singles and doubles. The official anklets with timers made it feel like a true race day, and the energy stayed high from the first heat to the last.
One of my favorite parts was the community that showed up. Supportive vendors lined the area, friends came out to cheer, and people ran, observed or helped time the events. Coaches were everywhere, encouraging their athletes, pushing them through tough moments and celebrating every win. “Clients” never feels like the right word for people who train together, and this event made that clear. They’re teammates, training partners and part of something bigger.
As an event photographer, days like this are a dream to capture. The movement, the grit, the teamwork and the joy all come together in a way that tells a full story. Challenge Fitness created something special with their first CFX race, and I’m already excited to see how it grows. If you’re planning a fitness event or community race and want photography that captures the energy and connection, I’d love to be there.
