Deann, Chris, Ashlynn, and Hayden

This family was my 3rd session of the morning at Robbins Park, and all 3 families knew each other, so I had to be sure to find different scenery and poses for each.  I think we succeeded here!  This was my first time exploring the “farm” part of the park in great detail, and we found so many great little photo opportunities, including horses and donkeys.  This family has roots in Alabama, so they felt right at home in this farm-like area,  and it just warmed my heart to hear Chris refer to Hayden as “son”.  Such Southern charm!

I’ve been photographing a lot of younger boys lately in whose nature it is to run wild, not to be still and pose for a photo shoot.  Hayden demonstrates what these boys will grow into.  With older kids, I was blown away with how much we were able to accomplish and how many different creative poses and locations we could shoot in just an hour.  It also helped that Deann was right there with me, on board with trying many things.

           

Kristina, Mike, Madison, and Jacob

This adorable family wanted holiday photos.  Holiday photos have been keeping me very busy, and since all my afternoon spots were full, we scheduled a morning shoot.  I was a little worried about how the lighting would be at that time of day, but we were rewarded with lovely lighting.

In my previous holiday shoots, I had a family that wore holiday outfits, and another mom that brought a small tree.  Both looked great, so when I saw this little tree and little ornaments in Target, I had to get them for my holiday shoots!  Having never gotten either a tree or ornaments before, I had to ask how to hang them on the tree.  Another kind shopper directed me to hooks, which I purchased.  But when I got home and tried to hang them on the tree, it looked silly.  Since the branches are wire based, I was able to shove the ornaments onto the end of them for a cute photo prop.

         

Stephanie and Carlos Save the Date

These two will be getting married in the Spring in Central Florida, and scheduled a shoot with me for their Save the Date. Shooting at Tradewinds Park was new for me, and it was awesome, as we found a ton of great photo spots. Congrats Stephanie and Carlos. I'd be happy to drive to the Orlando area to capture your wedding, too!

     

Shanise’s Maternity Session at the Beach

Shanise's sister contacted me to schedule her session. They're planning her baby shower, and wanted some beach pictures of her to display at their nautical themed party. This was my first one on one session, and it was fun bonding with this expecting mommy. This is my favorite beach, because in one small circle, there are so many great photo spots! The small boardwalk onto the beach, the rocks, the grass, the water, and the boats and ships that pass by all add interest to sessions here. Congrats mama to be - I hope to meet your little one soon!

         

Erica, Manny, Aiden and Dylan’s Holiday Shoot

I had the pleasure of taking photos for Aiden and Dylan's modeling portfolios a few weeks back. They were a fun family to work with, so I was excited when Erica called me to schedule holiday portraits. When they got out of the car at the park, I was struck by how well they pulled off a holiday feeling with their outfits - don't they look great?!
