This fam is always a favorite! Even when the third child makes the first child exclaim that she's not a fan of third children, and mama's earring has technical difficulties, we manage to capture some beautiful moments in between the chaos, which is equally beautiful. And a post-photo session swim and meal was the ultimate reward. Love you guys!
While I’ve found joy in self portraiture during the pandemic, it feels SO good to have my So You families back in front of my camera for their annual family photos! And this is one of the families who have been with me the longest. It’s so amazing to have watched them grow from looking for the teenage mutant ninja turtles in front of the house, to a gender reveal for baby #3, her newborn session, and the annual progression since!! This year, their love and joy were as exuberant as ever, and I cannot tell you how many times I oohed, awe’d, and gushed over this year’s selection of photos!
This was the last family session I got to capture before lockdown. And guys, I miss it so much!! I’ve been staying fresh by taking a photo a day, some with my kids and my dog, lots of self portraits, but it’s not the same!
I’ve had the pleasure of working with this family since they found out they were having a boy! I captured Grant as a newborn, and I was so excited to work with this crew again to document how much everyone has grown! Mama had her heart set on a beach session, and after a few reschedules due to rain and runny noses, we finally made it happen, and it was worth every bit of wait!
