So You by Erica Sue - A Year in Review 2019

I’m incredibly proud of myself and grateful for my growth this year, both as a business, and especially as an artist. I'm grateful for all of the faces I got to photograph, both familiar and new. I spent time with families, encouraged them to be joyfully and lovingly themselves, and captured those interactions. One photo per session in 2019. I can see that I created some incredible images capturing special moments for beautiful families this year! I’m looking forward to freezing time for more families in 2020!

Adelyn's Bat Mitzvah Pre Shoot | Hollywood Beach, FL Photographer

This family celebrated Adelyn’s Bat Mitzvah this Shabbat. We kicked off the celebration with a mitzvah pre shoot for Adelyn a few months earlier. It’s been a while since I’ve looked at these images, and I love how photography has the unique ability to freeze a moment in time; to capture a feeling. After spending more time with this family Saturday night and witnessing their partying with family and friends, these images from months before document the essence of who they are. They are loving, and joyful in each others’ company. And that love and joy is contagious and radiates from these photographs.

Ellie's Bat Mitzvah | Sinai and Solel of Hollywood, FL Photographer

Ellie lead a beautiful service Shabbat morning, which we documented with a mock mitzvah photoshoot, followed by a high energy celebration Saturday evening. The details were incredible, with her name, logo, colors, and photo tying in the theme throughout. She and her friends never left the dance floor, and I am sure this joy will stay with her as she continues to grow!

Ellie's Bat Mitzvah Pre Shoot | Wynwood Walls Miami Photographer

This young lady celebrated her Bat Mitzvah this past Shabbat. She rocked her mock mitzvah photoshoot, and her amazing celebration this weekend, and I can’t wait to share those photos that capture the amazing energy of the event. While I put my artistic touches on the photos from Saturday night, I’m so excited to share these photos from our mitzvah pre shoot with Ellie and her family in the Wynwood Walls arts district in Miami in the weeks before her event. A mitzvah pre shoot is a great way to bond with your photographer before the big day, and capture some great images to share throughout your celebration; Ellie’s photos added a personal touch to her decor.
