Sophie's Bat Mitzvah Pre Shoot | Wynwood Walls Miami Photographer

Sophie will be celebrating her Bat Mitzvah in a few weeks, so we met at one of my favorite places, Wynwood Walls, to capture some pre-shoot photos. Wynwood is a fave shooting location of mine, because I love how every session is different, and there are endless opportunities for creativity. Finding fun walls to shoot with becomes somewhat of a scavenger hunt, which is always a fun time! And when you’re having fun, it shows in your photos!!

I'm so excited to deliver these sneak peeks from this weekend's Bar Mitzvah!! The Bar Mitzvah boy's uncle and I are friends from High School, and I have had the pleasure of knowing this family for over 20 years, and keeping in touch with them in the community in recent years. I really love that documenting mitzvahs allows me to both nurture and expand my connections in the Jewish community. This family has built a beautiful community for themselves, and it was really special to witness this weekend, feeling and capturing the magic.

And what a fitting theme! The celebration was decked out in a magical circus vibe, and I think that really enhanced the palpable energy in the room. Brady is as loved by his community of friends as his parents are, and I hope to be a part of more events as he and his family continue to grow!
