I was lucky enough to photograph Saxxen's older brother Hayden's birthday a few months back, so I had plenty of time to look forward to Saxxen's 3rd birthday. They have a great group of family and friends who celebrated with petting farm animals and face painting. The kids had a blast, as did I, capturing their fun!
Vera, Pedro, Isabella, Kylie, and Amelia
This family was referred to me by another family whose portraits I have taken. I love referrals, b/c it usually means the client has seen my work and already expects something great, which makes me that much more determined to deliver!
I love their bright colors and sunset lighting to match at the beach. We had low tide and calm waters, which made for some fun seaside photos towards the end of our shoot.

Christine’s Baby Shower
Christine's baby shower has been on my calendar for a while, which means I've had plenty of time to look forward to the event. I arrived to a well lit room beautifully decorated with a pink and grey theme. There were many family and friends there to shower this mommy and daddy to be with love and gifts for their baby girl on the way. Lots of laughter and hugs were shared, and I was glad to be there to capture it all!
Congrats Christine and Jason, and I can't wait to see you again for your maternity portraits in a few weeks!

Renee, Jarid, Kailey, Mia, and Charlotte: South Florida Family Photographer
I love the bright color of these girls' dresses, and the sunny glow of the backlighting in mom's hair! We started off this session with some gently posed portraits, and finished with some fun candids. This family was very easy going and fun to work with. They trusted me to get the kinds of shots they were looking for, which translated to them looking relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

Danya, Blondine, Rennai, Dena, and Christina - Regal Homes: South Florida Headshot Photographer
This shoot was very serendipitous. Last night, I was supposed to be doing an engagement session, which was rescheduled because the bride-to-be's make-up artist had to cancel. And her friend was in need of a photographer for her real estate team's headshots, because the one they had scheduled had to cancel.
Danya and I spoke on the phone to discuss her team's vision for the shoot. She said they were meeting at a home in Deerfield to get ready, and wanted to do the shoot there. My first thought was, "What? You want me to shoot where? You don't want to do this at a park?".
The weather ended up being really overcast, and being able to shoot both indoors and out at their home and their neighbor's gave us some great variety for this session, including some awesome bougainvillea which was in bloom. Don't these ladies look lovely?!
